Pre-assembled -6AN PTFE braided stainless transmission line set designed for 1999-2007 GM Trucks (Silverado/Sierra/SUV) using the Tru-Cool 40K Transmission Coolers (LPD47391). These offer a bolt on solution that eliminates the need for failure prone rubber line and hose clamps. Rated at well beyond transmission operating pressures, these lines are absolutely the safest way to plumb an aftermarket transmission cooler. These kits include both the -6AN conversion fittings for the transmission, as well as both -6AN conversion fittings for the Tru-Cool 40K Transmission Cooler.
Note: 2008+ transmissions use different size cooler line fittings. The fittings we supply with our kit will not work on 08 and later transmissions and additional fittings will be required (sourced separately).
These are available for both 4L60/65/70e and 4L80e (1997+ case) applications. Not only do they look great! But, they weigh in at less than the OE line assemblies - Only 25oz for both lines (not including conversion fittings).

Why Choose PTFE Line? -6AN PTFE hose has the same inner diameter as standard hose, but with a much smaller outer diameter due to the increased pressure capacity of the PTFE liner. This makes PTFE hose ideal for applications that have tighter space constraints. In addition to this advantage, PTFE hose has a significantly increased working pressure range, chemical resistance, and heat tolerance compared to traditional viton or rubber core braided stainless hose. -6AN PTFE lined hose is rated to 2500PSI and has an acceptable temperature range of -75ºF to 400ºF. These features make PTFE hose the absolute best choice for the high pressure and temperature requirements of automatic transmissions, especially for the demanding conditions of performance and racing applications.
