Each bag is unique, they are made with cotton material and with nylon zippers. They are washable and reusable.  The bag is about 7 inches by 7 inches and has a zipper. The strap is about 40 inches long. (When it came to the 35 in. strap, I did use my 3-year-old as a reference and when it came to the 40 in. strap, I used my 7-year-old and a reference. I hope that may help a little on choosing a size.) Please note that the bags will be slightly different with the patterns because of the cuts on the material.
