This is a War Department issue 12- bore cartridge used by aircrew for training purposes during WW2, but may well have been used in combat shotguns. I am told it was used by air-gunners to practise aim-off techniques, and also to improve eye to hand co-ordination. The cases have been carefully cut above the brass to open, and have all propellant removed and the primer neutralised, and then re-attached. The 2 cartridges shown have been 'done', so you can see it is a very neat job. Our price: £5.00 (only ONE available)
