Answer (1 of 6): I live near the beach and I’ve seen all sorts of tops that go for bathing suits-so if your are comfortable wearing a bra, go for it. It’s better than an ill-fitting bathing suit top, and given the designs and colors available in bras, most folks probably won’t know the difference
