On Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge, the two photos (below) captured this inquisitive black bear (Ursus americanus) as if he was posing for a police mug shot. But it's important to remember that as docile and humanlike bears might behave, they are wild and unpredictable. We recommend letting your camera lens bridge the gap of distance when observing and photographing bears.
